-fave band, mcr (I know embarrassing but I love them) or nirvana due to not only their music being amazing but also due to their political beliefs.

 They made tremendous progress for feminism, LGBTQ+ rights... and that’s something I feel v strongly about

-fave song by MCR is cancer as it puts a beautiful perspective on death and how the hardest part about dyeing is leaving your loved ones behind as you go onto whatever is to come “the hardest part of this is leaving you”

-fave song from nirvana is rape me. I know. But the song is about how most sexual assaults happen between people who know one another (in the home, from friends, family). The song is also saying to the rapist “rape me, rape me my friend.. rape me, rape me again” and “do it and do it again”.  This speaks on my first point about sexual assault happening between people who know one another and also that it happens behind close door over and over again basically saying “rape me again you can’t hurt me.. no matter how hard you try, you will never take my soul or internal being.. I will survive this” this also ties into my strong passion for feminism. As woman we are constantly objectified. All woman live in fear from sexual harassment and assault as it is so common. This is why this song means so much to me.

-I would say I feel apart of the alternative community due to my political views and cultural beliefs and the music is great. Also the aspect of freedom to be/ dress how you want and be unique

- I am also part of the pole dancing community. I started pole to improve my confidence as I use to struggle with body image and positivity
