I’d say I’m probably part of the alternative, gaming communities

I have an older brother so when I was a kid, he would play video games and I would watch him play and attempt to play until I got older and actually got good haha

And he was also into more alternative/emo/metal music and when I was 8 I absolutely fell in love with Paramore, I saw a female lead killing it and was like yes I love this and since then that’s just been my music taste, especially as a teenager and going through some hard times, lyrics in more alternative music just resonated with me and made me feel understood and heard

I think I express it in my daily life with how I dress, definitely an alternative style! And I play video games most days

I believe that becoming apart of types of communities can help you feel included and understand and definitely helps with figuring out who you are, especially when you’re younger

Annnd my favourite quote is (I have two) “and there are bright places, even in dark times. And that if there isn’t... you can be the bright place.. with infinite capacities” or “to be alive is a strange and wondrous miracle we forget”
