I would say I’m alternative and LGBTQ, although don’t really feel like I fully fit either of them as I’m very “normal” looking, there’s nothing that stands out about me and I am bisexual which is sometimes shunned by lesbians as I’ve been classed as “just not knowing what I want” (maybe gay, still trying to figure it out lol) and I do express this in everyday life as most of my family and friends know. 

I 100% believe our communities contribute to our identities as they help us be more accepting of ourselves, more loving of ourselves. Being around similar people in a similar community allows us to be who we really are rather than hide ourselves away.
