What communities do you feel part of? 

I feel like I belong to the alternative community, lgBtq+ community, I also feel close to the kink community both online and off line.

What draws me into them?

I love the diversity and open mindedness within the kink community, I met the nicest and kindest people there. Same goes to the alternative community and the LGBTQ+ communities.  

How do you express them in everyday life or do you feel you need to hide them?

I don't feel like I need to hide them but I also don't feel like I need to show them off. Being alternative is easy to show off I guess since I have coloured hair, tattoos and piercings, when it comes to kink my fashion sense is bit on the fetish side of things too, and I do wear a collar 24/7 but it's only for me, it's a reminder for myself that I belong to this community and it brings me comfort. I think with LGBTQ+ community I express it with interacting people online but in my everyday life I don't feel the need to talk about it unless asked directly. :)

Do you believe communities help make up identities?

I think identities is something very individual for every person. I think communities help making our identities feel valid but with that being said I think that you don't need to be a part of a community in order for you identity to feel valid.
