Volunteer #23 - A

So I am a Pisces Sun - Scorpio Moon - Rising Libra (I get told this combination is a bit messy and boy do I feel it sometimes).  I do pole, am LGBTQ+ and am part of the metal community so got a few here! I have met a few lovely people through pole as I just started going to classes to try something new and the girls I do it with are so lovely so I do feel a sense of community there. With LGBTQ+, I am pansexual so I often don’t feel very connected to the community unless I haven’t got a male partner but it doesn’t bother me in anyway as I know there can be certain misconceptions. I love the metal community so much, going Download for the first time really solidified that for me! Everyone is like one big family. But that sense of community comes from more online interactions as I don’t have many friends at all that like metal as I grew up in a very conservative area rip and I dress more ‘normal’ if thats a thing. Its definitely a community which I would like to make more friends in! Everyone in my life knows of each community I fall into so you could say I express them all however I don’t make a particular effort to. As they are all a part of me and my personality they all just come out I don’t consciously make an effort to show off any aspect it just happens if you understand what I mean. I think communities can makeup someones identity but a lot of people are fine without them so it’s a person by person answer from me :) Fave album would have to be between Ghost - Prequelle or Gojira - Magma Fave song (this is embarrassing but what the heck, my comfort song) - You spin me right round - Dead or alive
