Volunteer #2 - H

I'd consider myself part of a few different communities to be honest. The main ones would be; Metal and Gaming.

I'm not 100% sure what drew me to them if I'm honest, when I was about 11 I started listening to rock and metal and I got really hooked on it.

As the years went on I progressed onto heavier metal genres such as death metal/core, djent etc.

I'd 100% say I express this in almost every day life with how I dress and how I look. From the big beard to the long hair, skinny jeans to band t shirts and vans trainers. Being a member of a band is something that has thrown me deeper into the metal community as I've met so many awesome people both at gigs I've attended as a Performer and a member of the audience.

The gaming community was something I was always going to be part of, my first console was a Super Nintendo when I was very young, that then moved onto PlayStation 1 and 2 and then the xbox.

Gaming is something I like to do in my spare time a lot! It's always been something I can do to kind of take me away from the realities of life and throw me into a diverse world I can just get lost in. Much like metal and music really, I don't think there's a single day of my life I don't listen to music.

I'd 100% say communities make up a large percentage of a person's identity as its something they can look at and relate to, so that they don't feel alone in this big ol' world.

Favourite song - this changes a LOT! At the moment it has to be between Sleeps Society by While She Sleeps, Bloody Valentine by Machine Gun Kelly or Reading;Steiner by Gravemind

Favourite album - this also changes a lot to be honest, one album I can always listen to without skipping a single song is Waiting for Morning to Come by Being as an Ocean.

Favourite lyric - I have a few of these as well haha.

Favourite quote - most of these come from my favourite film (fight club).

These quotes probably sum up my personality to some degree, I'm extremely laid back and carefree.
