Making of In Bloom

I knew I wanted to featured two women for the exhibition and so for the second I chose this beautiful lady!

I'd been thinking about how much I really liked the green against her hair, and how much I really liked the lyrics they chose.

I started with colour background exploration using watercolour paint and painted these two backgrounds. While they were trying I made my traces.

I moved it around a bit and decided the brighter background really worked with her.

and now - to paint!
