Critique

Crits are put in place to help us create a group of artists who can freely and constructively criticize another artist. They're really helpful for furthering project, working on burnout, showing pieces you're unsure about along with showing your successes and seeing other peoples artwork, concepts and their journey through their own project.

This weeks crit we all had a chance to talk, along with showing anything we created this summer. I haven't been very well this summer so instead I spoke my ideas and intentions for this project with some really helpful off the girls. We talked about exploring my own identity, exploring the things that interest me, for example the music I listen to, pole dancing, family etc, or work with the people and the communities around me but using social media to explore it. We talked about creating a survey or forum where people can talk about what communities they're part of and collaborate with them, and doing this through the platforms I have available to me especially twitter.
